▪AgGaSe₂ & AgGaS₂ Crystal
AgGaSe₂ crystal is commonly used in medical devices, laser radar, all solid-state infrared tunable light source, various laser spectrometers and infrared-wave plates.
AgGaS₂ crystal is often used in the OPO of Nd: YAG, the differential frequency of IR dye laser and the directional IR countermeasure system because of its different transparency.
Both crystals have the common functions as below:
1) It is used in the infrared field with large nonlinear optical coefficient and high transmittance.
2) It is used in the frequency doubling device to output 10.6 μm CO₂ laser.
3) It is used in the OPO device of Nd: YAG laser.
